About

Therapy can seem intimidating

Especially if you have no experience of what it is like or what to expect. You may even feel ashamed that you are considering therapy. Maybe the thoughts of going to therapy seem daunting and you are concerned about opening up to a stranger.

Starting therapy is unknown territory and fears are present when you don’t know where it will lead. However, it is important to consider if temporary fears about therapy are really as bad as continuing to live a life that you don’t enjoy.

It is my job to help you work through the difficulties you are facing in a non-judgemental and supportive way.

Working together to get the life you want

My approach is collaborative, we are working together to get you the life you truly want. You are the expert of your own life, I will never push or tell you how to live your own life. I will assist you in the process of self-discovery and change, supporting you on your journey.

If you are feeling stuck in life a fresh approach and insight can help immensely.

If you’re ready to live out your purpose, dive in, grab life by the reigns, and make some honest changes, then we should chat and discuss how to move forward through therapy.

Building Trust

It is easier to open up to a therapist when you feel comfortable and understood. In our first appointment, I will get to know you personally and why you have come to therapy.

We will make sure that working with me is a good fit for you. Building rapport between us is vital if you decide to work with me.  The therapeutic process will bring change into your life. This may at times feel difficult and it is important that you feel that you are supported by me on your journey.

I believe therapy needs to be results orientated and that is what we will achieve when we work together. If you are ready to start the journey to the life you want to live call me on (814) 722-5527.

“I became a therapist because therapy has helped me so much!!”

In 2007, I went to therapy as I was going through difficulties in my life. I felt stuck and didn’t know how to move forward. Going to therapy helped me immensely and I started to consider becoming a therapist because I wanted to help other people the way I had been helped.
It was an idea for some time but I didn’t get around to it till I lost my job in 2010. It was the first time I had been laid off in my life so I decided it was now or never to train to be a therapist. Three months later I started graduate school. Two and a half years later I became licensed as a therapist and begin a new career that has become a passion for me.

My work as a therapist in Cincinnati is to provide a supportive space for all my clients to experience self-acceptance and transformation toward their ultimate potential. My training has equipped me to support clients through this process and help them navigate life’s most challenging circumstances.

I live in Cincinnati with my wife of 12 years. We are parents to a teenage son. I love playing soccer with my son,  travelling with my family, and playing chess in my spare time.
